About A. J. Ryan
A. J. Ryan is a dedicated public servant with a proven track record as a former Mayor and current commissioner of his hometown Dania Beach. He is a successful small business owner and devoted family man deeply rooted in the community who is focused on a promising future for generations to come.
He has publicly served on a local, state, and national level. Some of these positions include Chairman of the Board for the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Executive Committee member of the Broward County Solid Waste Authority (SWA), member of the Port Everglades Action Team (PEAT), Standing auditing Committee for the SWA, and the Standing Committee of Innovation and Technology for the United States Conference of Mayors.
He is personally involved as a Nova Southeastern University Ambassador, a member of the Board of Directors for the Committee 100, a Dania Beach Lions Club family member, and a member of the Nativity Catholic School Advisory Board. Professionally, Archibald is a Real Estate Broker, Insurance Broker, and a Licensed Community Association Manager (CAM), bringing extensive knowledge to the real issues the community faces on a daily basis. He holds a degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida.
